Hypnagogia
Hypnagogia defines the state between sleeping and waking: the state in which our dreams can seem more real to us than the waking world, and which, depending upon the nature of our dreams, our limbo-selves seek to flee, or to sustain.
For this one evening, the labyrinthine spaces of the theater and neighboring Anon Gallery will be transformed into a surreal and fluid experience by participating artists addressing dream states and the unconscious in a variety of media, which will include: interactive sound sculpture, sound collage, sculptural installation, video projection, drawing, photography, painting, multi-media performance, and live musical performance.
